Mad Max: Fury Road was so good that it made me reevaluate how often I use the word 'awesome'. I would gladly see it again in theaters! It's quite an experience. Without getting into spoilery stuff, it's full of oddities and strangeness, but it all fits into the world they live in and there's no over-expository hand-holding explanation of things to dumb/slow down the plot.

Oh man, Mad Max:Fury Road stole all my adjectives. I have physically called every friend who's phone number I possess to tell them to watch this movie.

Facts:

Mad Max possesses more explosions than most movies have characters.

Mad Max was rated R because they were trying to spare anyone with a weak heart from dying of adrenaline overdose while watching the film.

Mad Max is best watched in the chair from a clockwork orange so that you do not miss out on any of it's awesome.

Finally Mad Max is probably the first movie since the original Lord of the Rings that I will actually pay to go see in the theater more than once. I'm not limiting myself here, in truth it may be 3-4 times depending on how many people I need to drag in to see it.

Yeah see this movie.

I liked it.

Lots.

I was waiting for the next MadMax for years. This world needs another line of postapocalyptic road movies.
And seeing all those reviews it seems they did it right and probably will do more.
Also looking at movies like Wyrmwood, it seems that this genre is trying to return. Im crossing fingers!
PS:

Also - Mad Max-esque Reboot episode concepts, everyone!

@burnturn. Yes I liked the originals.
However - I had only seen them once, the first week of this month, in an effort to learn more about a series I hadn't watched yet. That having been said, I felt that each of the other 3 suffered from a slow boring section in the middle which happens in a lot of early 80's movies I try to watch. I have no nostalgia for that, as I didn't watch a ton of movies in the 80's. I prefer fast paced movies. Essentially - I liked the pageantry and the plots of the old movies, but wasn't wowed by the pacing.
